How does it feel to be standing on an inner solid ground? How does it feel to hold on to an invisible force which is providing guidance and perseverance? When our spirit aims high but the world around tells us to take a shortcut or to run outside, where can we find the strength and inspiration? These are some of the questions this exhibition attempts to answer visually with drawings, paintings and ceramics works. The representations and masks of astylized Holy Mary, daughter of the earth and bearer of heavenly grace, answer this very last question. Whereas works such as “We’ve got this” and “Hand Holding” show the strength of the act of having faith. Birds and angels are winged creatures which have inspired Linda in works such as “Heron, my angel” and “Heron, the Birth”: the lack of colours allows the viewer to dive into the details and beautiful line work of these pieces
